We're reaching out with an overview of what you can expect from this month as you wrap up your senior year. In June, you'll register for your NRB overnight and adventure block experiences, tune in for our summer webinar series, officially connect with your academic advising hub, and more! We've provided more information below, and encourage you to mark your calendar with these dates and details.

June 5, 2026 at 10 a.m. EDT | Registration for NRB Overnights and Adventure Blocks Opens
NRB is an immersive experience filled with programming designed to help you acclimate to RPI. Check out our Fall 2026 overnight (optional) and adventure block (required) options. We will continue to update these pages as we get closer to registration. Registration for NRB opens Friday, June 5, 2026. All students are required to register for NRB regardless of whether you are attending an overnight.
June 10, 2026 | FYE Summer Webinar Series Begins
Our webinars cover a number of topics related to supporting your transition as a new first-year at RPI, and look to connect you to campus resources before you arrive. This month features the following webinars:

June 12, 2026 | Health Forms Due
As an incoming RPI student, it's important to confirm you've completed the required pre-entrance medical forms. For more information on these required forms, review the Health and Wellness section in the Enrollment Guide.
June 17, 2026 | Percipio Learning Programs Begin
RPI requires every incoming student complete mandatory online programs the summer before they arrive on campus. The first set of programs, which are hosted through our online learning platform, Percipio, focus on an academic overview, academic integrity, and cyber security. You will gain access to these programs starting on June 17, 2026 and will have until August 12, 2026 to complete them.
To complete these learning programs, sign into Percipio. Review how to log in and find these modules here.
Please note some majors may require you to complete additional learning programs.
June 25, 2026 | Advising Consultation Period Begins
Depending on your school, advising consultation may be done in a group webinar format by major(s) or department(s), or one on one with a member of your school’s advising team. Your advising hub/school advisor will connect with you via your RPI email mid-June to invite you to an advising consultation webinar. For more information on advising and registration, check out the "What's Ahead" section below.

Submit Your Photo for Your RPI ID | Your RPI ID Card is a vital part of navigating our campus community. With your ID Card, you can access your residence hall and academic buildings, use your meal plan, and identify yourself as part of the RPI community. RPI ID photos are due by July 10, 2026. Upload your photo here.

First-Year Advising and Registration
To prepare for your fall courses, you'll go through an advising period followed by course registration. Your academic school will guide you through the process. To start preparing for advising and registration, please review the First-Year Advising and Registration page and your respective academic advising websites before the advising period.
Academic Advising Hub Websites
Students entering as undeclared will work with our Student Success Center team throughout the advising and registration period.
AP Scores and Transfer Credits
As you prepare for advising and registration, please make sure you've submitted your AP scores and transfer credits by June 20, 2026. For more information on transferring credits to RPI, check out this resource. If you have questions, connect with our Registrar's Office at transfercredit@rpi.edu.

Shopping for your residence hall is an exciting time! Before you start packing, make sure the items you plan to purchase and bring are not listed on Student Living and Learning's Prohibited Items list.
Examples of prohibited items include:

Our Learning Assistants (LAs) support RPI's orientation experiences and host interactive first-year and sophomore workshops and programs throughout the year to help students thrive academically, socially, and personally.

Advice for new students: Avoid procrastination. Starting things early makes them so much less stressful, and it gives you more freedom if a fun event comes up later if you already did all of your homework.
