R2R: Road to Rensselaer 2019
Who knows the RPI experience the best? The students!
The Office of Admissions invites you to give back to your high school alma mater this holiday break. As a
Road to Rensselaer
volunteer liaison, you will share your college story with a group of high school students, helping them get to know the college experience and what RPI is all about!
Volunteer Liaison Responsibilities:
Attend a training session at the Office of Admissions from 5 p.m.- 5:30 p.m. on December 3 or December 5. If unable to attend either session, you can work with admissions to schedule an alternative training.
Arrange the visit to your high school.
You may contact your former school counselor, teacher, club adviser, or coach to schedule a time to speak with a group of students.
Confirm your visit plans with the Office of Admissions by completing an online form.
Attend the visit to your high school.
Arrive on time.
Represent RPI by wearing Rensselaer apparel.
Be creative and have fun presenting to the class/group in your own way.
Give the counselor/teacher/coach the evaluation form to send back to us.
Submit your evaluation of the experience and your visit.
Celebrate your success with reflection and treats on January 29, 2020 from 5 p.m.- 6 p.m.!
