Between NRB registration and advising and course registration, the next two weeks contain several important dates and checklist items. We’ve combined these dates into a list below, and encourage you to take note and double check that these are on your calendar.

Final Call: NRB Registration Closes on June 30, 2025 |
While overnight trips are optional (but encouraged!), all students are required to participate in NRB Adventure Block activities. Check out our Overnight Trip offerings here, and our more than 70 Adventure Block offerings here.
Register at go.rpi.edu/NRB2025 with the username and password with which you applied to Rensselaer. The final day to register for an NRB Overnight Trip and Adventure Block is June 30, 2025.

Gearing Up for Advising and Registration |
To prepare for your fall courses, you'll go through an advising period followed by course registration. Detailed below is the advising checklist we shared in our last email. Be sure to make note of these important dates.

Submit Photo for Your RPI ID Card by July 10, 2025 |
Your RPI ID Card is a vital part of navigating our campus community. With your ID Card, you can access your residence hall and academic buildings, use your meal plan, and identify yourself as part of the RPI community. Students must carry their ID cards on them at all times.
The deadline to submit a photo for your RPI ID Card is July 10, 2025. |
Summer Academic Engagement Opportunity |
We’re excited to share that you may soon be able to access early academic materials in math, chemistry, and possibly physics before the fall semester begins.
This is a great opportunity to preview key concepts, build confidence, and get a head start on subjects critical to your major. Students who engage with early material tend to feel more prepared and perform better in their first-semester courses.
We’ll send out more details soon on how to get started. Stay tuned!
