Financial Aid Meeting

We are pleased to offer individual meetings this spring for accepted students and their families who have already attended a webinar and still have questions about their financial aid package. This 20 minute meeting will give you the opportunity to connect virtually with one of our financial aid counselors. Pre-registration is required and the access link will be sent to the accepted student's email address on file.

All meetings will be conducted in Eastern Time (EST).

Please note, if you have not received your financial aid award letter yet, you will not be able to schedule a meeting. To make the most out of the meeting and ensure all your questions are answered, we would be happy to schedule a meeting with you once you receive your award letter. Reasons why there may be a delay in receiving your award letter include:

  • Timing of communications about your acceptance between Admissions and the Office of Financial Aid (as long as both the FAFSA and CSS Profile were completed and sent in)
  • Differences between your FAFSA and CSS Profile (a​​​​​​dditional information will be requested from you to help resolve the data differences)
  • We have not received both the FAFSA and CSS Profile. Both forms must be completed and sent to Rensselaer in order to receive an award letter
Please note, these meetings are not required; they are designed to help families that may have questions that are not able to be answered by looking through the award packet materials provided already.
